I've never seen that blending technique before, but it's very cool! The colors on the black fabric really pop.

Here is another little bit for you. Just realised it is missing a bit of backstitching... However, easily sorted! To cover my embarrassment, I think I forgot to say this is based on a real window -- pretty much the 'impression' you'd get if you were looking at the rose window in the south transept at Chartres from the nave. It dates from about AD 1230.

Here's today's update. I've counted and counted, even from the centre, and I'm just hoping that the semi-circular bit really isn't off centre, although it looks it.

:applesauce: :applesauce: this is definitely a Gothic Splendour. The colors on the black fabric just gleam like a colored glass window! I don't think it looks off center and I did a little counting and the same number of spaces are on both sides of the half circle. I think sometimes the fabric gets slightly stretched in one direction which can make it look like that up close. But I don't see it. I think it is stunning! :applesauce: :applesauce:

It may be just the stretching of the fabric. I counted in a couple of spots and it's right on.
It looks fabulous.
