Here's another update for you. I reckon it's almost half finished. At least now I can work 'right side up' in stead of upside down! (Don't ask.) I don't know if it comes across in the photo, but the blued edges of the half circles create a curious optical illusion. Same for the lozenges around the centre figure -- seems to go all fuzzy, the eye can't quite grab it.

:applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce: WOW!! Don't see an optical illusion, but do see a magnificent piece of artwork! Those colors just pop! It reminds me of beautifully hand painted piece of china. Even with the black fabric which most definitely is perfect for this design! Can't wait for the next update!

And finally another update! I've decided I'm going to finish this and have been working steadily on it since putting away Christmas stitching. Sorry it's a bit fuzzy -- used my iPhone. (Note to self: ask for proper camera for next Christmas...)
