I've got this computer but the card readrer doesn't work on here, so no chance to upload it.

Anyhow, I'm going to take Susan up on her kind offer of making the card, but have suddenly realised something quite crucial ... she will see the back of my work!!!

Ooer! not, it has to be admitted, a pretty sight.

Hehe yeah I got half way through before my brain stopped auto mirroring it then I got really confused and wondered what was going on :P Then I had to stitch everything still in mirror because I was NOT frogging it all.

Haha, Susan, I'll hold you to that!

Mags and Angel, your cards are lovely! So pretty.

Ok, here are my two offerings. Hubby, being more techy than me, gave me a thingy adaptor so I can still upload my camera pics on dodgy compie! YAY!

First design.

Second design.

I found the patterns and then fiddled and changed bits on them. Hopefully they will be ok though.
:D

You can't really tell on the picture, but I used metallic black to outline and metallics on the butterfly to try and make it look a little more appealing. I think they will look better once in a card.

Thank you everyone, you're very kind.
Erm actually Carolyn, I don't mind if I do ... :choc:

Susan, I'll try and get them in the post for you either tomorrow or Wednesday. Things are a bit manic here at the moment with trying to get things ready for going away for the weekend, on the phone with youngest boys Dr's trying to get some things sorted with them and trying to organise animals etc, lol.

They're great fun, Tbear -- I think I must have had the same magazine cause in my folder of cut out charts there are two very similar cats for future cards :-)

Angel, that is such a pretty butterfly -- and what a clever stitcher you are to mirror it without noticing :-). (Just out of interest, are you left-handed?)

Mags, that is a lovely design; we're getting quite a collection together!

Not sure what magazine these are from Mabel as they are out of the 'patterns' carrier bag passed over to me from my friends husband. There are seven in the set and it says on the page 'crazy says' and then says its easy stitch etc. So I'm assuming it might be from cross stitch crazy?
