I 'borrowed' the latest cross stitch gold from my mum as there is a stunning cushion using a few different stitches in there. I have also orderd everything I need but I am NOT allowed to start it until I have finished the one I'm doing for my parents' golden wedding.
Quite excited about starting it!!

Haven't gotten them yet, but I ordered a new kit from 123stitch, some bohin needles and qsnaps, a magnetic needle minder.

From another place, DH ordered me some Udderly Smooth hand cream, and I got that yesterday. He saw me reading the thread on hand creams and researched on his own. Wasn't that cute?

I hope everyone has a good stitchy/stash year this year ...

Wow! Nice haul! I'm expecting some stuff today from 123stitch. I gave the mail lady plenty of time to get here, bundled up (coat, shoes, mittens...it's 12° F), walked to the mail box and nope, no mail yet today. Aarrghhh!!!! I don't know if I want to rebundle later or wait until tomorrow.

I received my package from 123Stitch today. Really glad because I've been waiting for the WDW Turkish Red to complete Christmas Tree Farm.

Even though Christmas is over, I think I'm going to have to work on one of the 2 patterns I received today because they both look great!

I hate when that happens! I've done it several times, I swear the mailman waits for me to come down and check it then head back up before he shows up lol.
Hope your stash arrives soon.

My pre-Stitch from Stash order arrived. Well, technically it arrived; it had postage due so I had to go to the post office and pay its bail to get it.

Image

The Joyuex Noel Fleur De Lys Tree was just too pretty to pass up; its silk and fabby were ordered with it, so it's all kitted up and ready to go.

The lugana and fibers in the middle are for a Lizzie Kate design...also kitted up now. http://www.123stitch.com/item/Lizzie-Ka ... Kit/LK-K62" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank

The Ink Circles design Twisted Heart is something I am thinking could be a nice anniversary gift for my son and daughter-in-law. I've seen a few other designs that I would also consider, but this one is pretty but simple at the same time. They're not foo-foo type people and I think it would go well with their house and their personalities.

    I'm in lust!!! Debby that tree design is just amazing and I can't wait to see you stitch it up---I hope it won't be too long :) I imagine it would look super stitched up in a variety of threads---I may just need to add this to my wish list!!! Love all of your stash, too bad you had to pay the post office bail money to retrieve it though :P

I actually debated about getting the silk because I think it would be gorgeous in just about any fiber, particularly an overdyed. But I've never worked with silk before and decided this would be a good design to give it a go.

I think you made a wise choice and I'm sure that you will fall in love with the silk thread---the few times that I've used it, I have thoroughly enjoyed it.

Love everyone's stash additions, but now my wish list has grown by leaps and bounds. There should be a warning label on this thread. :D
