I just had this vision of taking all the flower motifs and sprinkling them around a design like a flower meadow. Are there hardanger flower meadows? (If not, why not?)

and here's another thought: your "Home Sweet Home" design would make the basis of a fabulous Christmas gingerbread house...

Well, you know my thoughts about designs - they are there to play with

so I'll look forward to your gingerbread house.

I'm not sure if there are any Hardanger flower meadows out there yet, but that doesn't mean we can't create one! Are you looking for flower motifs made out of Hardanger (like Tudor), or the sort of satin stitch flowers I've used in designs like the Floral Tiles?

TouchÃ©! I'll have a think about the gingerbread house...

The Tudor Rose is one of those that, one day, I'll get and do in the "original" and also in all white. Perhaps I was thinking actually about millefiori.
