I work on multiple projects at a time. And I like the way others have done it to just have one thread for all.

So, along with Aunties Chicken Towel, and Mabels hardanger SAL.. these are the other projects that I have started.

Glendon Places Outrageous Owls
Stitching 1 over 1.. on I think 20 ct.
For my friend Margaret
I am not stitching the first or last birds.. their colors were weird and I think its long enough without them. I may possibly do the last.. depends on how much work it will be to re-color it.

Barbara Ana's Its Snowing Somewhere
Stitching 2 over 2 on 28ct Monika in light blue (still had the tag.. its the only way I knew the count)
That fun thread I used for the scarf is Weeks Dye Works Confetti.. super fun!
For my friend Beth
Will be made into a bell pull.. and she loves snow so much, I expect that it will be in her house year round.

And lastly, Cricket Collections Swimsuits
For my cousin Gina who moved into a house on a lake about a year ago
Had to start on this because last weekend, I was with the people I am currently stitching projects for. Had to start something for someone I wasn't with.

Beautiful projects, and the owl one is just adorable as can be!! I may have to try and find this one--but like you, I'd likely only do some of them.
Love the snowman one too, especially fitting for someone who never gets snow here!! Great projects Maggie

:applesauce: :applesauce: Great projects. the owls are adorable. The snowman looks like so much fun. The scarf is great. I'm going to have to try that thread with something. And the swimsuits remind me of vacations we used to take on the Gulf Coast of Florida. That is one I might think about sometime.

Yes Rose.. you heard right. I'm working on a snowman
Here's his update. Finished the border, a bit more of the text done.
For whatever reason, I had to frog and restitch the g 3 times. I kept stitching it with my top stitch going in the wrong direction. Ah well.. fixed now.

And heres supplies for my next two projects:
The blue will be a pillow for Aunt #2
Haven't picked the yellow thread for it yet. Was waiting to buy the backing fabric first, then I'll match it to that. I'll bring it with next time I go to my stitch store. Possibly a slight variegated thread _if_ I can find the right shade. Just doing the flower head part.. not the bottom leafy part.

Strawberry vine towel pattern Rose sent me.
This will be for Cousin #2
Every year, I pick strawberries with her and her 2 girls. They know me as Strawberry Auntie.

Soon. I plan to start it after Snowman is done. Swimsuits and Strawberries can wait. Thinking this will stitch quick.. since its all one color. Fingers crossed I can get it done by Christmas.

What a lovely selection of projects. I love them all and you are going to be doing some wonderful gifting when those have been done although how you will stop Rose from stealing your snowman I have no idea.
