I have a moonlit night idea I'm working on.
Yes, I am having fun although, I did make myself a chart to stitch and I need to start on it.
But when an idea pops into my head, I have to 'write' it down immediately. :D

Thank you,

Have you thought that a wolf in silhouette would look good in front of the moon on your night time seen. Just a thought I had, it is really good of you to share these with us.

I was thinking of an owl in a dead tree. I like the wolf, too.
Yes, I have tossed around a few ideas but, please, continue to suggest them. I do appreciate all the advice and help I can get from you gals. :D

Thanks,

Here's the night scene I was thinking of.
That is the real moon, BTW.

Hmmm. This application doesn't do imperial measurements and I don't know how to convert it.
I use 11ct aida and don't know what that would be.
A 5x7 would be a nice format but what's 5x7 in those foreign measurements?

Thank you,

on 11 count the stitch count would be 55 by 77 stitches, and 88 by 110 stitches for 5 by 7 and 8 by 10 respectively---not sure what kind of measurement system they are using??
:?

I set this chart up on 100x100 so making either adjustment will be pretty easy.
As a matter of fact, I'll set up all my charts on these measurements. :D
I'll do it.

Thanks, Karen,

OK, 5x7 was just too small and still retain the detail so it'll be a 8x10.
Next question is, do I need to leave a border? In other words, should I fill the whole 8x10 chart or reduce its size to leave an edge space?

Here is an 8x10, or 88x110, filled completely.

Thank YOU!! I've downloaded it and definitely will be stitching this soon--got a couple of other projects to tend to, finishing up a page of a HAED, hopefully tomorrow, then have a page of the HAED SAL to work on, but may just try and get a start on your owl design sometime soon :) :)

Oh, I love the owl! I plan on teaching my daughter more about cross stitch this summer. I started her off last year. This looks like something that we can work on together and she wouldn't get frustrated on, especially the background. Thanks for all your work! Your very generous hearted!

Gosh, it was nothing I didn't already enjoy doing. I'm doing this for the fun of it. I'm here to enjoy my retirement away from all the hustle and bustle of business life.

I only hope you enjoy it as much as I did in creating it.

@ Mags, I love your avatar! :applesauce:
