More interesting links to have fun with.

Having Fun
http://www.patternsonline.com/Patterns/Pat.aspx?P=791

I really like Gloria & Pats designs and I choose this as my daughter like penguins.

Holly & Ivy Sampler
http://www.twdesignworks.com/TWDW/hollyandivy_l.html

TW has some very intricate designs and I believe this added some delightful shapes and gold thread to the pattern.

Day Surrenders to Night
http://www.kustomkrafts.com/New%20Websi ... 43page.htm

I have this pattern also and would love to have the time to do it.

Today is going to be really fun.

Zebra's Play
http://www.123stitch.com/cgi-bin/itemde ... em=01-2335

I like the way they put it on a box gives another idea for finishing our stitchy stuff.

The Nativity

This one is my dream stitch. I want to do this one so bad. It is just beautiful and to get the frame and all ooooohhhhhhhh.

Ruchey

This is the picture of the pattern.

This is a link to the site that the pattern is on

I thought that this picture was just so gorgeous. I love the mood it projects.

I did have a fun time looking up the different sites and finding so many different links.

*stunned and amazed silence*

*blinks again*

*emerges from reverie*

That's a cross stitch design? It is absolutely awe-inspiring. I would just love to make that for our church -- but realistically I'd say there's about as much chance of my ever actually doing that as 'the calves dancing on the ice at St Jutte's mass', as a Dutch saying goes.

Beautiful though -- what a lovely find!

PS St Jutte is another name for St Judith, whose feast day, I am informed, falls on the 17th of August. Very little chance of ice, even if you could find calves willing to dance on it :-)

Our new links for the day are

Father Lion
http://www.janbrett.com/cross_stitch/fa ... stitch.htm

This site has some interesting patterns I found. Kinda fairy tale like pictures.

One Green Apple
http://www.mysticstitch.com/detail.aspx?ID=216

I have order from this site. The pattern was ok but no back stitching and I personally like backstitching.

Pig-Chinese Zodiac
http://www.chinese-learner.com/chinese- ... ac-pig.php

We have recently had some new memebers come on and say they were doing zodiacs here is a different type. They have a tiger on there home page that is amazing.

The I Still Do one is great -- it looks lovely in the one colour, though it might get a bit samey to stitch perhaps? Has anyone ever done a large project in one colour?

No I haven't done a large monochrome. I think it would make for quick and easy stitching, with not having to keep changing colours.

I have never done a large project with just one color. I thought this site was full of some interesting projects but I am not sure I could work in just one color. The one I just finished is as close as I have come. But I did enjoy the way the single color flowed.

I have done a pillow with Hungarian folk pattern all in red - I think it's in my gallery, and also in my Flickr album. It was great to work with one colour, I liked it a lot.

Heavenly Problems

This was the only one that I could not find a picture of individually. I just love Paula Vaughn and I had to have her in there and this is one of the best she has done in my opinion so I copied the picture out of one of my many books.
