I have great news

I have not been on here that much recently and no stitching has been done as I have been in a bit of a hectic few months. I applied to study a BSc Midwifery and in the UK it is very hard to get onto a course as 1000+ people apply for 50 or so places. I have been interviewed and put 100% into the interviews and all the research building up to them. Today I finally got told I have been lucky enough to be offered a place starting September this year. I am so happy and feel like it has been a whirlwind of a ride but I got there and in 3 years time I will be a midwife.

I can get back to stitching now and need to get things finished before September as my course will take up a lot of time so wont get to do loads then.

As someone who went through the same thing trying to get onto a speech therapy course recently, I totally understand how difficult it is and just getting onto the course is a major achievement (unlike you I gave up and pursued a different path).
