My WIP

Post by mauveme »

Well I finally got back to the Quilt Shop, I have been stitching exchanges for the last month.
Been at this since March 6th /06....
Just "landscaping" to finish now and (of course) the backstitching. I swear it has more than a PV
Can't wait to finish cause I want to start my purple rose. :?Image

That is just beautiful, so very detailed!

By the way, silly question perhaps but what are exchanges?

Exchanges---trading your sitiching with other like minded stitchers. SwapBot is a good place, also lots of stitching groups have monthkly exchanges.
One Canadian group I joined do a different exchange every month. Last month was fridge magnets, April is a needle roll.
It is great to collect pieces done by other sitchers. Espedially if you join an internationasl swap.
Most groups have a christmas ornie exchange. Bookmarks, huck towels, bread basket covers, pot holders, biscornu...the list is endless. And a great way to meet stitchers from all over the world

I know, that is the thing, it is such a pain but really well worth the effort.
