It's good to be back.

Post by crossstitchpro »

I haven't had the time to visit here for a few weeks. I injured my arm and then my friend's daughter was quite sick and I wanted to be there for her. (she ended up having 75% of her colon removed!) Anyway...she's doing a lot better and my arm is healing fine.
Back to stitching!....I've started a design from a painting called "Near Kennebunkport" It's of a lady working in her flower garden. Will post pics soon.
I'm also getting ready to make a tote bag to put a cross stitched iris on. I'll post that too.

Here's a spring freebie that was shared on another forum:

Welcome back Lori I am so glad that you are doing better. Ohh it is rough when you can't stitch. I would pull my hair out.

Ouch I hope your friends daughter is doing ok. That sounds very serious. We wish her a speedy recovery.

Thanks for the update on the freebies. I did not choose that one but found another in the free section that I picked. More patterns yeah that is just what I need.

Nice to hear from you - glad that your arm is getting better, and hope your friends daughter is ok - my mum had a similar op 25 years ago and is still going strong !

Look forward to seeing pics of your projects.

Hello, Lori, it is good to see you back. I hope stitching and good company :) will give you some comfort after the difficult times.

Thanks for all your support. :D My friend's daughter had/has ulcerative colitis. It's an autoimmune condition, so her body was attacking itself. The only "cure" was to remove it.....

Anyway, thanks again.
