I started this in the middle of last week, I haven't done a huge amount yet but its nice to have the fabric gridded and a few stitches in

I've done a fair bit more since this pic was taken yesterday morning, but no chance to take a new one.

I've not worked on 18 count fabric before, the stitches are so tiny! It's so cute and it seems to progress quite quickly.

The fabric seems very 'fluffy' is the best way I can describe it, which I've never come across before with either aida or evenweave. Its not a problem, just unusual. the thread seems to break easily too.

I can't wait to have more time to work on this though, the colours are so vibrant and its lovely to see cloud shapes emerging already. I'm working 5 days a week now though, so less time for stitching, but more money in the long run, and another child is getting much needed support, so I think I can manage.

time for an ipdate.

the quality of this pic isnt great - my camera work is shoddy tonight sorry folks. But you can see the progress I have made. I promise to get a better one next time

I've discovered that I dont have enough of one colour already. For the light pink, they sent me 2 light pink strands and 2 medium pink strands so I'm having to skip that area for now. I've already contact MCG and they have said they will send me out some of the light pink AND some of the medium pink to make sure I have enough - I'm really impressed with the customer service

It's nice to see the clouds emerging I just wish I had more time to spend on stitching at the moment
