A couple of things

Post by Rose »

Earlier this week I had a few minutes and I went back to see some of the very old post and I came across the very first post I had ever made on this forum. It seems to have been a long time ago. It was funny to see that post. :?

Also I went back to the very first post on the "Let's start something new" thread and found that it was started way back in Nov of 2006. That is along time for the same post to have continued to grow and grow and grow. Will be fun to see how long it can last. :silenced:

Oh yesss happy two years

I do like the "lets start something new" - good fun, gets a bit near the mark on occasions but someone usually pulls it back just in time

Oh no I was not the one to start this that honor belongs to Alex and Bagpuss. She was the inspiration and Alex was the technical support. I was just a member who joined as I was looking for someone to help with a pattern I wanted made. It was more complicated then my talent would allow so I found this site and I asked a question.

You are right in the friendly department though. I had asked similar questions on other sites and either go no response or got told that I just needed to look up some of the sites on the net. I have found over the years that many of the other sites tend to only push there one designer products and some of the moderators think that there way of stitching is the only way. So I only come here anymore to relax and enjoy the company this one is the best due to all the wonderful people that we have.
