I oversew all the edges by hand, I often do it before I am ready to start the project, sometimes late at night when I am too tired to stitch x's, it does not take very long :D

Ah! But if you have enough fabric to begin with, it's simple to cut the tape away, leaving a nice clean, straight edge. Ta Da! :P

The way I work I would end up covered in it, I am using a 6" hoop on my project, the rest of the fabric is held out of the way with a hair toggle, like a ponytail :lol:

:lol: :lol: It works! I hate the material flopping over my hands, and big hoops are quite heavy with big projects :D

That or else you can look at it as what works for one might not work for another but if you are happy with the outcome then it is the best for YOU
