I have been pondering what theme to choose for my bingo this time around and I ummed and ahhed about the theme I have finally chosen....hopefully it won't put too many people off of playing!!

As some of you may know I'm currently studying towards a natural sciences degree with the OU with a slant towards biology and genetics...(would love to get into epidemiology in the future) as part of my studies I have been introduced to many different microbes and pathogenic critters....and to be honest I find them absolutely fascinating....and also somewhat scary!

So I thought I would introduce you to some of my miscroscopic 'friends' for my bingo...don't worry I won't be posting pictures of actual diseases/conditions just the little critters that cause some of them and some relevant information.

The prize this time will be half stitchy and half geeky....that's as much as I will say, I think a surprise gift is nice and it adds to the excitement....I'm sure looking forward to mine!

Oh how fun. I'm not much of a microbiologist, Atmospheric science was my research area, long long ago. But I love learning new things, be they chickens or germs!

kitties would pick pasturella but its not listed.

I work in micro so its nice to see something familiar! I'm not sure how to play this though and wont because i may not get back on time. have fun with your germs though!

Is it just me or does the sign-up time seem longer than the game lasts?

Sorry if it feels that way but unfortunately I have other commitments too......I need time to prepare all the info for the bingo as well as working full time, prepping for a big exam coming up soon, general family stuff such as poopy housework and cooking, nice family stuff like spending quality time with my little girl and let's not forget stitchy time! Unfortunately life does get in the way sometimes!

It was more of a "the numbers get matched & I never get a BINGO!" so fast.

Oh that's ok sorry for grabbing the wrong end of the stick so to speak !

Sometimes the games don't seem to last too long...but other times they go on for a while....personally I think they last just about the right length of time....especially when hosting...you have to make sure you log in every day and post numbers etc....The last bingo game on the HAED BB lasted for what....about 3 months was it?.......I think I would have gone insane running that one

I'm sure your turn will come soon....you have pretty good odds considering the amount of people that play!
