i got an idea......

let's do an artist trading card exchange.
usually these are paper..but why not do a stitched one?
first read this:

this shows the size..
we could easily use 16ct fabric of any color and do any design we wanted..
as long as it's the right finished size.
and then wrap the stitched piece onto a piece of regular cardboard...folding the edges back and glue in place..then put a piece of felt or paper..
write our board name, real name and where we live.
and then exchange them...
soooo what do you think?anyone would like to be in?
see how many before I make the official sign up sheet

CF you are amazing all the way over on the other coast and you are reading my mind. The last couple week-ends I have been thinking that this would be a fun thing to try. I had a few notes written down of how to do it. Was just getting the mind organized before I put the idea to the board. I think it would be a great deal of fun. I will definitly join in if the interest is high enough.

k once we have the sign up sheet full..to an even number of people..i'll start a new thread w/ directions...and hope someone will sticky it..lol..i'm heading to bed as it's late here now..i'll get the specifics together and ready to post..say sign ups due by friday..so one full week to make up your mind and to get the specifics..
if u read the page i linked to..i think it states the size...i'll repost though..

I would love to join in but there have been times when I just haven't been able to pick up a needle and I would feel awful if this happened and I couldn't complete the swap.

Put me on the list...I finished the stitching but I dont know how to put it together yet.
Does anyone have a link to assemble Crossstitched ones, all I can find are other mediums? But they are great aren't they?? There are some really creative people out there.
I didn't realize just how popular the ATC's are.
