It should be okay, sammy, just run it under the backs of the stitches, perhaps a bit further than you would normally.

I'm wondering ... :thinks: If you are really worried about it staying, couldn't you do a sort of loop start underneath?
and then just make sure you run it under further after as Mags says?
Just thought it would give a bit of an anchor. :thinks:

Great work Sammy. I prefer to work with the loop method, which is why I generally choose fabric size to accomodate using 2 or even 4 strands rather than the odd number.
