Crossstitchforum - A FREE forum for Cross Stitchers

I have just tried joining, and I can't get past the first Yuku form! It keeps telling me that my birthdate is invalid! I'm doing as they tell me: mm/dd/yyyy.
I've tried leaving spaces, leaving no spaces, and every other way you can think of. My birth month is January so I've tried doing "01 and just "1" on its own, Still no luck.
What am I doing wrong?
Help!!!

Never mind!!! I just added the /// and it was accepted! didn't think of adding those.

I did the same, mind you it took several attempts before I put month before day

That's what the Atlantic does to us!!!!!!

When I first moved to the US I had major issues with reading dates since back home we also use day before month. I still think it makes more sense.

Any chance we can get this list sticky posted?

I'm adding my name even though I haven't been on the HAED BB very much ( I joined in April) and haven't posted anything yet! The reason being is I had a little difficulty navigating the BB, and kind of gave up and this forum is my comfort zone! The other reason is I've only very recently started my first HAED (not on the SAL yet) and before I felt I wasn't really part of the HAED gang!

I want to put forward an idea. How would it be if we had a separate SAL thread for HAEDS? There are a lot of members doing these and it might be worthwhile. It could make it easier to keep track of all the projects if separated up into two SAL's

What does everyone think?

I didn't explain this correctly. I've posted on the regular board to clarify it. I'm gathering it's not a popular idea anyway.

I've just signed up and am awaiting approval. My name was taken so I will be on there as sunnyday71. I can't wait to see what it's about but I suspect there will be another huge learning curve for me. Did I mention I'm not good at forums?

Mine has disappeared too!

Somebody probably replied to an early post to add their names and it skipped a few people, I'll update the first post list.
