Hi Becca, Just had a look at your blog.
The kittens are very cute, lovely rich colors.
The Rose is so realistic, drawing, painting, cross stitch, all make you so aware of the colors that are truly there.
I love the pencil cat and the tiger cub.
The black cat is wonderful, my favorite. The sparing lines and the in-depth eye are perfect.
The Woodland Enchantress will be fantastic, Dimensions kits are quite complex in thread variety, but well worth the effort, I find it works to have bobbins with smaller quantities of each thread wound on, and also the blended on other bobbins, all color coded and with thread numbers on, I am a great fan of dimensions kits as my gallery shows

I love working with blended thread in the needle. The way the eye is tricked into seeing one colour adds to the realism of a piece, I think. I have been working on a design that includes sloes; although there were only four symbols, three of these called for blended threads. You could pick the fruit and put it in the gin, it's so realistic.

Hi Becca
Just had a look at your blog - I just love the black cat - it is wonderful.
I have dabbled in the past with drawing but I am nowhere near as good as you are, need to find time to practise
I've bookmarked your blog to keep tabs on what you are doing

hi becca! beautiful artwork you have there! I love to draw, OK, i USED to draw, but no longer do it. I tried coloured pencils, but never got that good. I did some pastels, and really liked that. I'll have put up some photos of what I used to draw and paint.
I don't have a blog, my life isn't interesting enough..
but you can have a look in my album, if you like.
well done on all of your cross stitching, too!
