Me too! I had some frogs here today as well. It seems it's just one of those days... :(

hehe, Well I had to undo eight hours worth of stitching. I thought I'd only made a minor misake and could rectify it. Then I found out what I'd done *headdesk* I can't rectify that bit till tomorrow though. My marked copy has been marked with pens so I can't see what strands need to go where on that one and I don't wan to use my hard copy of the pattern beuse I'll end up frogging again. *sighs* Oh well, I'll just do the hat :P

Oh well ou learn and move on I guess.

I nearly always photocopy the chart I work from and then lightly mark off with a pencil,if I go wrong I just rub out the pencil marks :D

If the design is particularly complicated, I'll use pencil... on the original. Erasers are wonderful things!

Thats probably a good idea as I only have art pens and they're slowly dying. I jut like big bold marks. *shrugs*

Do either of you use those shiney metallic type threads by DMC?

Yeah, what do you want to known? I'm not happy with kreinik. You have to be careful with the blending filament. It stretches and breaks if toolong. I prefer Rainbow Gallery petit treasure. It works much smoother.

What thread are you talking about. The smooth metallic that is on the spool? I have used it and not had any problems. Any other metallics I always use "Thread Heaven" it makes working with metallics great.

The one I'm using is E3837 by DMC.

Well have you noticed how very wirey it is? I'm having trouble working with it. It keeps straightening itself out, so when I was trying to secure it like with my normal cotton the stitches kept loosening themselves and then undoing themselves so I had to use a loop to secure the stitches at the start, now I'm drawing close to the end of this thread and I'm unsure how to secure it.

Thank you. I'm going to put this card in when I finish it, I was just having a look and seeing how to. Figured I'd put me in there whilst playing ^_^
