New Project (Picture Update 6-7-11)

Post by Rose »

I started on my next project 3 days ago and have some really good progress so far. I hope it continues this quickly.

I am making a picture for my hubby's birthday it is a cross stitch of a picture that was painted for him.

This is the picture, this is what our race engines look like.

And here is a progress picture.

There are 10 pages for this pattern 5 across and 2 down. The page I am currently working is the middle page, top row and I am about 1/4 of the way finished. But if I have thread left that goes to the next page I work it all the way to the end so this is about 1 and 1/2 pages wide.

Great start!

Two questions:

1. What count of fabric are you using?
2. How much time are you stitching per day?

You have gotten quite a lot done in 3 days and I am impressed!
Happy Stitching!

This might sound stupid, but is the design of a gun?

Regardless, great idea and it's turning out great so far. :D I'm sure your husband will love it, especially since it was made with love.

That's a great idea. If my hubby knew that I could take pictures and convert them into charts he would have me stitching something similar...maybe an LS1??

I usually always work on 14 count aida and this is no exception. I can't really say how much time I stitch per day I just do it as much as I can Somedays more then others.

No it is a picture of the engines that we build for airplanes. It is a V12 Rolls Royce Motor.
