Motorcycle photo/stitching (updated Feb 6)

Here's my holiday project this year (also known as "sanity saver for the airplane and a week at the inlaws' house").

This is the original photograph that I took of one of my bikes:



The finished piece will be two-part, mounted side by side: a cross stitch of the original photo and then a Photoshopped color inversion of the photo (so blues become orange, greens become purple, etc).

So, essentially, the cross stitch, or "fake"/man-made, part of the art piece will be realistic and accurate, whereas the printed photograph will be fantasy and unrealistic.

Both parts will be 4x6 when completed.

Should be fun!
