Yes, I was thinking a stretch might help (the fabric, not you :-)) before you take a lot of trouble frogging and adding!

I agree. I think if you stretch it, the design will look fine with the frame

Too late :) I only frogged one of the bluebells and a small one of the pink flowers but added some more lines, flowers, leafs to make them more evenly spaced - it has been washed and ironed again, waiting for it to dry now. :x: :x: :x:

It's done! Tadaaaa:

Image

I managed to put the motifs more or less in the middle of the rectangles - if you look closely you can see how I adjusted some of the patterns.
I am so glad :)

Now I only need some bookselves to finish furnishing my flat so I can hang this and some other ones on the wall... if there is any wallspace left after my books are packed out

Thank you :) Who would have thought that a cheap frame from Tesco could cause me so much pleasure... can't wait for my boyfriend to see it - he is a great Nature-lover, being a biologist, and is arriving to visit me on Thursday

Fabulous finish Agi! :applesauce: :applesauce: It looks amazing in that frame, and it's quite difficult technically to stitch a design to sit in a multi-aperture frame. I wouldn't risk it, so good for you for making it work so well!! :applesauce: :applesauce:

Do you mean to tell me you are not a native English speaker? I'm flabbergasted!! Your written English is so good I assumed you were from UK/US and had emigrated to Hungary. Please never apologise for your (non-existent) mistakes, there are plenty plenty English people who are barely literate. You knock spots off them!!
