Thank you so much.

Faith, it's a 31 count linen I bought on e-bay, some natural colour, but quite dark. Yes, no typo, 31 count. That's how they sold it - it is very uneven, but I love stitching on it.

Slinky, no, I didn't write to the WOXS.

I love ur stitching and , myself as a beginner stitcher, I am in awe of ur finished designs since I have seen many of ur works! You must have had a great teacher or developed an unique artistic ability to create beautiful designs! I am still learning many of the specialty stitches and practicing on a strip of evenweave.

Thank you, you are very kind. I have learnt basic cross stitch from my mum but in all other areas I am self-taught. Mot of the speciality stitches I have learnt from books and the internet. I think I am just curious enough and say to myself: let me see if I can do this. Sometimes I can, and sometimes not. :D

Sorry I missed this. It's looking beautiful, Agi. I want some of that fabric! It would be the perfect excuse to break down and buy some linen thread for a project on it.

I have finished my nature project. At least, I thought so.
:x :x :x

I either miscounted/measured wrongly or the fabric has srunk a bit when I washed it. Look:

Image

You can see that the motifs are not in the middle of the rectangles. Now I am working on trying to adjust them a bit, adding another leaf here, frogging a flower there... wish me luck :x:
Unfortunately, with my new medicine my stitching time is a bit limited, I could stitch last night, but not before that, I was so dizzy.
Today I was knitting, that requires less concentration, but hoping to get some more stitching done soon.
(And I apologise for my mistakes in English and typing - I do realise I make more than usual when I read through my posts, but I might not notice everything.)
