Hey hey all, my name's Jess, Im 18 years old from the North of England. Ive been cross stitching for just under a year and am also a newbie collector of the magazine "Crosstitcher". Am looking forward to meeting you all and finding out what other stitchers are up to! :D

Hi Jess,

So glad that you found our forum and that you found us nice enough to join in. I have seen the mag you are talking about and it is so full of stuff, be sure to check the site often as we always have something going on.

Hi Jess,

Welcome to the forum. I hope you enjoy your time here. I get Cross Stitcher mag too. I really like the new look which has taken place over the last few months - lots of different designs etc. What do you think of it? :D

I love Crosstitcher but got confused about the whole "new look" of the magazine seeing as I've only just started collecting it lol :D what did it use to look like? Cause ive not seen any pictures on the web of older issues that look any different from the latest ones? :?

Well Im actually the same as you lol. Im currently living in Hull and doing a college course here but I go back to Derby every 3 weeks or so to see my folks heh :) But can be stressful cause means travelling on trains alot >.<

Atm Im stitching the free oriental breauty kit in Crosstitcher issue 190 but I have the kit for Candamer's "Silent Journey":
