I finally finished the second pillowcase for my wife for Valentine's Day. I started the pair before Christmas!

Back to the Wedding Bells I go...but now, a nap as I've been awake waaaaay too long today with no nap.

Thank you very much. It is all stitched in DMC and the "LOVE"'s are stitched using a variegated floss. I really like how it looks. It's funny, this is the second set of these I've made. I love how they look when finished for the most part but I really don't like stitching and embroidering them. I have another set to do for the same person the Wedding Bells are for.

Speaking of the Wedding Bells, "Let's Marry", boy, are there A LOT of fractional stitches! This is probably the sloppiest piece I've stitched so far in my hobby and I'm hoping the back stitching hides the sloppiness.

Today is a snow day, so between shoveling and resting I hope to get a lot stitched.

I have finished all of the cross stitches and the next step is to start all of the back stitching. Oh boy. It looks so...weird right now.

It does look strange. I had to go back and look at the picture of the complete design to put it back in perspective. I think this is going to be stunning and am looking forward to your next update. This is going to be a fantastic gift.

After taking most of yesterday off from this project, here's an update! I've finished backstitching around the cross stitched words. Now I get to backstitch all of the individual words and designs.

I took a day off from stitching on Saturday but made up a lot of time yesterday. I probably won't get much done the next few days because I have a lot of appointments and my deadline is looming. EEK!

This is great! You have really done a lot so far and I know you can meet your deadline.
And it is so pretty, I doubt the happy couple will mind if they have to wait a little bit for such a charming gift!
