Glad to hear that. I generally stay away from the Michael's near me since they are not very good at maintaining cross stitch supplies. We have a few craft shops that are better, but no LNS which I really miss.

Roland, your fabrics are nice. I really like stitching on Fiddler’s Cloth. I find it adds just enough interest to a design without detracting like some fabrics do.
Serine, nice haul, especially those dragons!!!
Richard, as usual, your story was entertaining. I can just picture the poor goat being pulled out the dog flap.

I was at my Saturday craft class last week and one of the members, Sue, was giving this away as she was never going to use it. It's 22 x 124 inches long and 28 count in a nice off white/beige colour. I gave her £10 for her it as it's such a lot of fabric and she will donate the money to a charity she's part of. (The photo shows it turned over in half it's so long!).

I've been having an awful week (5 1/2 hours on the phone to my pension company
and still it is not been paid ) and when I saw this (I had already spotted it on Very Crafty for £25) one second hand so I had to have it:
Yes it is another Bothy Thread one, one of the bigger ones and someone had it for £19 on Fleabay so
I was thinking it would make a nice cushion front

Those Bothy designs are so cute [a word I hate using, but it's the best word for this case].
And for that price, who can complain? Really good snag.
Regards,
Richard

I agree. Some things are too good to pass by and this looks like a delightful piece to stitch! I have yet to see a Bothy design not worth stitching.

I love that one. I’ve watched someone on the Bothy Facebook group work on it and it’s even more beautiful “in person” (as usual).

Can't wait to see what projects you pick from there, or what techniques you choose to create one of you own marvels.

I am working on 2 pictures, and I ordered all the threads I was low on before starting. But I kept finding there were some I have none of, and some I’m low on. I made a list to pick up, and it was huge.
Then, found a bag with all this brand new thread in it.
At least I found it before going to the store.
I did still need 7 colours, but none immediately, so I ordered on line and included another Kreinik blending filament.
