This looks great, I am one who seems to see the tiniest thing on work and I can't see anything out of place, i've come to realise that when we work on a piece we are too close to it and once its done and finished up then suddenly the imagined flaws seem to disappear.

I hope your chemo is going well and you manage to get some much needed sleep now

I have two weeks to make my next project and I'm terrified. Seriously, terrified. I used the gridding method because I thought it made sense on this piece. I originally thought I had a least one month or longer for this but we received the Bridal Shower invitation and discovered that the shower is in two weeks, almost two months prior to the wedding. I'm hoping once I get started this will go quickly. We will see. If it doesn't get finished in time for the shower I guess it will become a wedding gift, although I hope to embroider the bride pillowcases as part of her wedding gift. The bride is my wife's niece and god daughter so we want to do something special.

Her colors are lilac and lime green. I'm keeping this is a dark purple because I fear a lilac won't show up or "pop" against the aida. Hope she likes it!







Let's hope the blue marker comes off easily. I tested it and it did but who knows what will happen with floss in the picture.

That is going to be beautiful. that you will finish in time. If not, it will be a gorgeous wedding gift. I use the blue water soluble marking pens all the time and have never had trouble with them washing out. I love the idea of doing this in a dark purple.

I had another subpar night of sleep so I decided to stitch. This is when I will do most of my stitching on this project, in the morning and in the evening. During the day I will work on pillowcases for my wife. Always working on two projects at the time.

It will look great, I just know it. You can do it, just breath and one stitch at a time. So far it looks great.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the wedding design you chose! I've never seen that one before, which is odd because I love Ursula Michael's designs! I think I may need to do this one for my own wedding next year. Can't wait to see how it comes out!

Woohoo! I slept until 5am today! Yay! Bad news is that I won't be working on this until tonight because this morning I worked on some stamped pillowcases I'm frantically trying to finish by Friday for my wife. That's today's project. Then the wedding bells tonight.

Oh, I'm about to go see a new pain doctor in a little bit. Wish me luck!
