I'll sit next to you and we can have a nice little chat.
I'll have my regular Irish coffee, please, Barman. Thanks. And a piece of cake with it, if I may.

Mabel sit in the massaging chair and we will turn it on a nice slow rumble with a bit of heat to help relax the muscles. I am going to sit in here for a while as I don't want to go out and strangle husband. He thinks he is being funny and I am about to commit murder. I will claim self defense. He was killing my sanity. :x

 Oh, Mabel, I'm so sorry your back hurts so much! I know how dreadfully painful that can be. A LITTLE walk may help it, but a 'walking outing' will make matters much worse - can't you get out of it? Or is it something you really want to do?

Barman! Something strong please! Today started with me ripping my skirt (and I really *like* that skirt) and ended with me finishing work 20 minutes late, with cramp in my hand from the siz PAGES of orders that I had to write out. The only plusses were that the nurses all love me now, the orders were for new uniform for them, and I explained the problem I'm having with the uniform supplier to one of the lead practitioners, and she's giving them a...*checks for impressionable ears in the vicinity*...a piece of her mind!

Oh, poor Kitty -- any chance of mending it? It feels really bad to tear something that you like so much, but sometimes you can take a piece out, or patch it on the inside.

It was ripped in a decorative area, so it'd be pretty tough to repair. If it was a seam, that'd be a different story. What I have done is ripped off the whole bottom section, so now it's all raggedy at the end, and it might be good for hallowe'en or similar, kinda got less of a worky feel and more of a witchy feel :) Now if only it wasn't a week late...!

Well, you could save it for next year, KK!

I suppose it wouldn't be worth while to ask a professional to repair it for you? They can work wonders, sometimes. Just expensively...

Barman, I think I need a medicinal drink. I've been bunged up with a heavy cold for the last 24 hours, and it's starting to sap my energy.

Well, at least I have 3 days off to get over it *sniff*

To be honest, it was a hand-me-down from a friend and I was thinking of replacing it anyway. And it is plenty in advance for hallowe'en next year!

Oh, get better soon, Daz! I hope you've not got the same thing everyone at work (except me) has got...I'm not very popular there at the moment, something about being too healthy. And there was me thinking I was just being a good advert! We are the NHS after all!

Ah poor Daz. Have a hot toddy and sit by the fire snuggle down and do some simple stitching. Nothing to complicated, don't want to bother the head.

You can, and you can have as many non-alcoholic drinks as you like! You may have noticed quite a few of us enjoying hot chocolates with lashings of cream....

I always have cocoa, myself. I'm not much for alchohol - just a small glass of something at christmas or birthday do's. More than a small one either makes me silly or sends me to sleep - and I can be quite silly and dozey enough without it!
