Indeed - very promising!

I've been filling in the outer border pattern this last week:

And I remembered to buy some more beads for it :D

I have just started working on the branch and am deciding if I want to do her dress or the flowers after :thinks: My stitchy bug is nearly as strong as my garden flock's enthusiasm to strip all the sunflower seeds from the seed heads. Note to self: I need to grow more Sunflowers next year for my birdies.

Well, your enthusiasm is producing something much more decorative than ravaged sunflowers :D !

My birds are so messy that I have sunflowers all over the garden anyway!

Lovely stitching, as always. You are really flying through this. :applesauce:

You must have a Turbo Needle

Every stitch in place and perfect. How pretty this is. :applesauce:

I am blaming the weather. I only managed 30 mins in the garden before the rain forced me to continue stitching. Consequently I have just finished the leaves in the outer border:

The last job on this piece will be to add the beads to this outer pattern.

Thanks Mabel :)

Made it to the end of stitching her dress:

Not a fun part to stitch all 1/4 and 3/4 stitches and rarely more than 2 stitches within an acceptable distance of each other. I dread looking at the other Fairies dresses because I fear it will be more of the same. I put my Peacock to one side because I wanted something I could make meaningful progress on and all the 1/4 and 3/4 stitches were so slow to stitch.

The leaves are nice easy bits to stitch so I might do some of them next and if I thread up the needle for backstitching the dress I can do that in between. The weather says more rain today so digging out the compost heap has been cancelled and indoors jobs like stitching are called for, I am trying to ignore the joys of housework.

housework is much overrated - and good idea to alternate more straightforward bits of stitching with the more intricate (partial stitches) or dull (backstitching) parts.

Housework is one of those tasks which Never gets completed!! :tizzy: Best avoided until the Dust Bunnies get to knee deep then :tantrum: Panic measures take over. Quick blitz and relax!
Question??? Why are Dust Bunnies always grey??

So, That conundrum over ...on to your Pretty Fairy, Jo :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce: Looking Good!! :applesauce: :applesauce:

She is absolutely gorgeous! I am so jealous of how much progress you make on your stitching. Maybe I’d get more done if I stepped away from my iPad. Hmmm….
