Looks really good in that frame. I can't tell at all that it's not perfectly square so you must of done a good job of stretching it out. Looks fantastic!

It is truly a wonderful piece and that frame does look much better than a wooden one as it blends so much better with the mat! Please let us know his reaction maybe grab a piccy of his face as he opens it?

Thank you all. You're even making me tear up reading all of your wonderful comments about this. I wouldn't have had the motivation to actually get it done if it wasn't for all of you. I will definitely post his reaction, and if I can get a pic, I will.

Well, hubby just opened it a little while ago. He really likes it! Unfortunately, it wasn't a complete surprise. He picked up on the couple of slips the kids had early on in the project. Plus, he wondered why I wasn't doing much other stitching during the day. He figured he was getting a cross stitch but didn't know which one and didn't want to investigate to find out. He is very pleased with it though so I'm happy! Basically his reaction was "Oh, wow!"

I bet uit was a very big OH WOW!!!!!! Glad he liked it.

Yeah, he wanted to take it to his parents' house to show every one there. I told him I had pictures of it, but he said that the pictures wouldn't do it justice.

Ahh that is wonderful. He must be very proud!!!!!!
