Yep, snow. And it's cold. Not a lot of snow, but it's sticking to the shrubs in my garden, and I'm already worrying about my wild birds - I'd like to invite 'em into the warm! I have 4 young robins, one of the parents' and a mass of young sparrows all hatched in or close to my back garden, so I feel a proprietorial interest in 'em. They've survived in my garden since hatching, and I don't want 'em to die now.

We have a veritable spuggy ghetto. Today was the first day I've filled the feeders, though. Guess that means winter really has come early... Hey, ho.
