Captain Blackfur is lovely and you're so close to a finish, I'm not surprosed you're keeping going with it.

An AWESOME UPDATE It is looking fabulous and oh so close to the finish. I am delighted you are going to stick with it this time out. An ear scratch for the supervisor from me - Tuppy is in the dog box big time.

Brought in his 3rd huge grass hopper and let it go downstairs as I wouldn't let him come to the bedroom. Downstairs is Jenny's office and sewing area, 3 huge desks/tables 2 very large sofas and big rugs. Got it outside eventually.

I have finished about 1/3 of the last page and as much as I want to keep at it, I'm going to work on BB8 (thank you Karen) first. I am loving this and continue to be amazed when the details come through. I especially like the little pawprints on the map. Because it is a mini, the details aren't quite as clear as they would be in a full size design, but still are very identifiable. Most of the confetti is finished now and so I do expect the rest to go a little faster.

Looking lovely, and plenty of detail despite being a "mini"

This has been such a fun journey that I think I dragged the last few days out because I'm going to miss my furry little feline pirate!

And the finished product (still needs to be washed and framed etc etc. But since David is getting BB8 at Christmas, this one will have to wait.)


What I love best in this piece is his shiny little nose, the strand of pearls and the watch with the little kitty (not as clear as I would like but I think still recognizable) on the face. I hope I never lose the feeling of awe that I get when stitching an small detail in a design and seeing that it ends up looking just like its s'posed to!

Laverne helped by keeping my lap warm throughout the process.

Thanks for looking and for all the encouragement I received from start to end. I would never have discovered this without the Forum.
