Thanks. 😁

About 5 years ago I decided to make this stocking for Rachel. Everyone she was with Christmas morning had one of my stockings. (5 people and 4 pets) But while I was working on it, I kept thinking about my cousin’s great granddaughter who was born premature. One day I saw a picture of her and in the background was a chalkboard with her NICU super name…..Mighty Mouse. So, I offered her the stocking.

Last year Rachel asked if I could make her a stocking and this year she picked this one. Interesting she picked the same stocking I originally picked for her.

There is so much 1/4 stitches I find it easier on eavenweave.

I hate quarter stitches, but they are much easier on even weave. Looking good! :applesauce:

I agree and am always amazed at how it can almost transform a piece. Looking very good!

Finished the mouse stocking. I need to put it together to deliver before the end of the month.

Since I have no stockings to make 😱 I dug this old one up. I started this one September 3, 2015, and I have not had it out for at least 2 years. I am on page 13 of 37. Gonna be a while yet. 😂

The stocking is really cute. Well done.

It’s always fun to dig out super old WIP’s and give them some love.

It’s from a video game. The character stitched is Zelda, and Link (the hero) is yet to be stitched. It was my son’s favourite game for years. He dressed as Link for about 5 Halloweens.

This pic is the costume he made when he was about grade 7. He designed the hat, but I sewed it, and I glued his ears on. (We googled how to make elf ears and got do-it-yourself instructions how to surgically alter your ears to look like elf ears. 😱 Instead, I bought rubber ones and used a temporary skin safe glue.)

:applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce: I love the photo! Brought back lots of memories when the kids would dress up for Halloween and make their own costumes. Our neighborhood really got into it for years as there were many children.

Great costume. I recently bought Zelda for my Nintendo Switch but haven’t played it yet.
