Great designs. I like the bridge - bridges don't scare me unless are suspension bridges. (I can't even do the suspension bridge at Disneyland on Tom Sawyer's Island...although it's not called that any longer). And the cucumber bloom is really pretty!! You're dong a great job - looking forward to more.

What a cute design for the cucumber bloom. I love cucumbers this time of year. My parents usually grow quite a few, which usually means I can get as many as I like.

New Sun on the Horizon

Just got a text from my bro-in-law. My sister's water broke. I'll be heading out to Illinois tonight or in the morning. I probably won't be designing for a few days, maybe a week.

EDIT: The baby is not coming just yet, but I'll still be leaving tomorrow. The doctor want to induce labor on Thursday.

Oh my gosh, I've been to Disneyland so many times that my first thought was "It's a Small World" (and now the song is playing in my mind, over and over and over and over).

My original thought had been "He's got the whole world in his hands." But now that I've seen Debby's comment, I've got the Small World song going through my head.

Enjoy your time away as you help welcome a new family member to your family. We'll miss you, but we know you're where you should be. Congratulations!

I've spent too much time looking at anatomy drawings with the skin showing on one side and inner anatomy showing on the other. It always seemed kind of silly to me. I thought it would be funny to do an anatomy diagram of something simple, like a pencil.

Parts of a Pencil

Sorry it's been so long. I've been tired. My mom is taking a little "stay-cation" for the next week, so I might be slow in designing. We don't get much time together, even though we live in the same house.
My new little nephew is a beautiful, happy baby. His "sister" (the cat) doesn't quite know what to think of him so far. She just keeps her distance and watches.
