THanks, guys - I thought I'd start with a colour that there was a lot of so I could stitch big blocks of it at the beginning and feel I was making a big impression on it straight away. I was surprised at how much I got finished in the 2 hrs 40 mins I was stitching last night. There'll be more of the same colour tonight so I hope to get a similar amount done again so that in a couple of days I can move onto another colour to b reak things up a little bit.

It's about 2 1/2 pages of chart and I'll be framing it to hang in my hallway. Because I knew I wanted to frame it, I'm stitching it 2 over 1 on 18-count, rather than 1 over 1 on 25-count, to make it that little bit bigger. The stitched area will measure 2 3/4" x 13 7/8" and I'll have a matt that follows that with just a small amount of fabric showing. I'm hoping to be able to have one decorated with a few butterflies to tie in with the design.

As for the floss organisation - bobbins are wonderful and I'm able to keeep them in numerical order in the box. In the lid, I have a sheet showing which threads are in each section with the symbol drawn next to it for quick reference. ;)

kell your framing idea sounds great i saw someone's stitched projects framed recently and the borders were made to incorporate the hair and make it come out into the border it looked great im sure you could do that with the butterflies and i cant blame you stitching this on 18 ct i cant seem to get to grips with 25ct and im in awe of people that can i have started a haed on 22count though and thats going very well keep up the great work kell its going to be beautiful

I love working on 25-count as well, and if I'd been planning on using it as a bookmark I would have stitched on that, but I was determined from the start that if I was stitching this thing with 89 colours, it was damn-well getting framed - LOL!
