I learnt my lesson and didn't do it again
For someone who came from a family who didn't drink Wine with their meals he was very efficient at draining my bottle of wine before he went on to his beers of an evening

I finished another motif last night:
I'm having so much fun with this one, to the point that my other WIPs are being ignored. I expect they'll be shouting at me soon.

You're making great progress with this! And as the crosses look very regular I assume you're not imbibing while stitching

Good progress and certainly worth a glass when a stitching session is over. or before to make sure you are relaxed. or during to make sure you stay relaxed and not get frustrated if you miss a stitch or two. or back to after to make sure you don't get frustrated by missing a stitch or two.

Absolutely agree. It's like my "on hold" Star Wars afghan.
