I love the krenik, it looks so beautiful!

Great update and I agree with everyone else that the swirls look lovely! Makes sense to stitch them as you go along too.

I love the kreinik swirls!

if you are still unsure about how strong they look, have you considered petite treasure braid? I bought some ages ago to try and oly recently got around to it. its brilliant stuff, much finer than the kreinik I've used and I find it behaves a bit better too. It is a little more expensive I think but you get a surprising amount and if it makes your life easier, its well worth the money. I know sew and so sell it at a pretty reasonable price

here is the latest update. Iam really enjoying doing it in one strand. As you can see the krenik is coming along .i would hate to have to do it all at once.

Oh this is sooo lovely, you have done very well with it. As you say a beautiful face. Another project to keep us watching to see what appears next. Will enjoy all future updates on this

She's beautiful and you're really flying through this one. Great idea to do back stitching as you go - there's a lot of it and it could be overwhelming (at least it would be for me).

Beautiful update and you are making great progress! Depending on the project I backstitch as I go rather than save it for the end, though I have had very little backstitching to do since the majority of my stitching projects don't have any. I don't mind backstitching because I love to see the details of a design emerge and find it encourages me to keep going.
