Hi...have not posted for a while but have been stitching on and off ... my dad has been in & out of the hospital twice - Feb & March. His condition is stable now and hoping that he'll quickly recover. :)

I have 2 finishes - Green Butterfly & a mini one - Pretty Roses Kit.

I have tried stitching with 5 projects on rotation since 1st week of March and have been enjoying doing 5 different projects on a weekly basis. This includes 4 new projects and a UFO one - Nature Gives. Here are my progress updates on each one:

Sorry to hear about your dad. Sending best wishes your way.

Great work on so many projects! I especially like the look of the lighthouse one. Makes me want to try something with half stitches... I love that painted look.

Can't wait to see more!

Thank you for all your thoughts and concerns on my Dad's health issues.... I really admire him for being strong throughout his health episodes... still the same his heart pump rate is still at 38% due to clogged arteries... bypass & angioplasty operation not an option due to his age and condition so he's only into medications. :)

I have been carrying along my stitchy things while he is in the hospital and was able to have lots of stitching time as he was always at rest/asleep.
That is why I have had progress on my projects. :)

Again, heartfelt thanks to everyone.

Sorry I have not commented on your projects before Charmagne, somehow I missed your posts. I had not forgotten you & had been wondering how you were doing. Now I know. Very sorry to hear about your father being ill again & hope he will soon be back to normal.

Your projects are so pretty & like others love butterflies. I was wondering which project you would do next & whether there would be butterflies in it. Well there are several there & all so colourful & neatly stitched. Look forward to seeing more of your work as it is always exquisite. :applesauce: :applesauce: :D

Hello everyone :D ...I have updates to show on my projects on rotation... and really thankful for all the prayers and concerns for my dad as he is doing well now after his hospitalization last March. I know that both of them, my Dad & Mom are not getting any younger, but am glad that they are enjoying their old age despite some health problems. :)

For the month of April - I have a finish! :whoop: - Red Poppies - I have changed the borders and added the saying. I think it turned out well (i hope you'll agree...? )
Image

..and this one will take the place of Red Poppies on my projects on rotation - DMC Summer Bloom 1:

...and here's my update progress on the other ones:

I do like the words on the Poppies. :applesauce: :applesauce:

The bicycle with the flower basket is going to be lovely on that fabric. A perfect choice.

I'm glad that your Dad is doing well now and that your parents are enjoying their old age. :D

Wonderful updates of all your rotations, too.

:applesauce: :applesauce: I agree with both Wendy and lavenderbee!! Your updates are beautiful and you are getting very close to another finish with Nature Gives. Once I started doing more than one project at a time, my love of stitching really accelerated and I find that if my stitchy bug leaves at all, it is for such short periods of time that I hardly realize he's gone off before he gets back.

Glad your dad is doing better. What beautiful projects. I admire your starting a stitching rotation. I keep thinking I want to do the same, but then I worry I will just have more UFOs.
