Leroy and Adeliane, thank you so much for your explanations of a biscornu! You did a much better job of it than I could. :)
 Always a pleasure.

Anchor floss! I was wondering which flosses you used. The gradients are really beautiful.

I tried a "mini version", with a 28 counts linen. The problems arose when I had to fix the form: too tiny and the fabric wasn't adequate. Maybe it would have been possible with a more regular frame (like a Jobelan). But I'm not convinced with my mini version and don't want to try the experience again.

I love the possibility to personalize your creation. I filled my biscornu with pot-pourri, now it smells good in my wardrobe. I remember I bought the central buttons in a shop in the North East side of Paris: metro during 3 hours, that's motivation (or insanity).

Very pretty! :applesauce: I haven't made a biscornu in my stitchy life....maybe that's something I should remedy :thinks:

How difficult was it to make up?....I think that's what's putting me off

Thank you all!

It wasn't hard at all to make up. I counted out my border, backstitched it, and then assembling was very easy once I found the center stitch on one side. Counting that was the hardest part and that wasn't too bad. I thought I would not be successful at assembly too, that's why I didn't post pics until I finished it and was sure it was going to come out properly...
