Love the tree Debby! Can't wait to see it completed.

I have that Ink Circles pattern in my stash, someday I should get to it...I think.

To much stash and not enough time lol.

Oh my goodness Debbie that is quite a collection  !

I bought some Threadworx threads from a lady in the Netherlands and had them sent to my Mum so I finally got to see them last week   -- some are perle cottons and some are very scrumptious silks

Image

My MIL and FIL gave me a cheque for Christmas to get myself something nice, so I've placed an order with Sparklies for several pieces of fabric; really looking forward to getting those!

Yesterday I ordered 15 skeins of HDF threads and some Belfast Linen for the Twisted Band Sampler. Need to get some more fabric to finish up the SoW SAL also. Good thing I didn't sign up for the Stitching from Stash challenge, because I would have flunked out in the first week of the new year.

Oh! I received part of my 123stitch.com order!

Image

They were out of one of the Dinky Dyes I needed, so that should be coming in at the end of the month. I purchased all of this in 2013 (for all of you stitchfromstash peeps out there).

I'm going to be making this:

and I bought fabric from Crafty Kitten so I cannot wait for that to come in!!!

During the Christmas holiday I accidentally ruined my small magnifier... a big scratch in the middle of the lens that made it useless. I was also in need of better light so I did some research and I decided to buy myself a new magnifier light. I settled on the PureLite 4 in 1 crafter lamp
http://sewing-online.com/equipment/lamp ... tVAmvTuLg0
I received it yesterday and already tested it out and I am in awe! I can see so much better! the glass magnifier is so much clearer than my small one and the light make a whole difference!!
here it is in all its glory
Image
In the meanwhile my mother asked me what I wanted for my birthday, guess what I said? ;) so it has been a win-win :mexicanwave:

EDIT TO CLARIFY:
for anyone finding this thread while researching on the Purelite, be aware that there are two versions, the 3 in 1 craft light and the 4 in 1.
The 3 in 1 include a big table clamp that you can use to fix the magnifier directly to your work.
The 4 in 1 version does not include the big clamp but has instead a tray and a chart holder.
If it is the table clamp you are after be sure to order the 3 in 1 or you are going to be disappointed. The listing from the manufacturer is not very clear and I was under the impression I would have got the clamp also with the 4 in 1 version.

This arrived yesterday from 123stitch. The material was a sale item and the blue floss is for an HAED I want to start.

These didn't come in the mail but I bought them at a store yesterday. Posted this on an FB group and felt like one person rained on my parade. I'm starting my project of collecting all the colors and hope to add about this many each month.

Also just ordered a couple of things from amazon.com today. I love stash and enjoy seeing what everyone here has received. Lovely and so much fun!

I have been keeping the postman busy! I've gone wild with Christmas money and got most of this from Ebay, but a couple of them from Etsy...
The floss at the top of the pic is Anchor variegated floss-I got it as a lot and I've started bobbinating it already. The floss at the bottom is WDW and I'm not sure if I will bobbinate it or not, it's me dipping my toe into a little fancier flosses than just DMC....

Like I need more patterns and kits....

I have a new bag. Have not been able to find a tote bag that wasn't quilted flowers. I came across the Swift bag from Tom Bihn. It's designed for knitters and appears that it would be perfect for them. I'm liking it a lot for cross stitch and needlepoint. Superbly designed and built. A little pricey, but I think worth it.

Gary I love that bag! I have a thing for totes and this could be good for my smaller projects and for travel. Oh dear...more temptations.

What beautiful stash (and bag) to start the new year! I received the fabric for my Twisted Band Sampler while I was away and should get the threads tomorrow (I hope). Then I'll post the pics. I get so impatient, but it helps to see the pretties everyone else has gotten.

The Nora Corbett dragonfly has been on my wish list, so I hope you'll be stitching it up soon so I can see it. I think it'll be awhile before I actually get it. I just love dragonflies!
