Love of animals, love of anything Australian.... :D I grew up in a family that has an appreciation of native wildlife. Where my parents live, we get a lot of native birds - kookaburras, lorikeets etc, and occasionally get a wallaby or koala.

I think so too, but not as cute as in real life. I added to my gallery some pictures of real possums that I took from one of my bedroom windows of my unit. One is a ringtail possum and the other is a brushtail.

I know - I think my stash is between 40 & 50 large kits and it is forever expanding. Currently I am bidding on 2 kits on ebay, and keeping watch on a lovely online aussie cross stitch store for specials. As it takes me a few months to do each one (I only get a few hours a week to do my cross stitch if I'm lucky) I roughly work that out as enough to last me the next 15 years or so.
:D :D

Kimkat in your gallery you have a picture that you labled "The Ballet Dimensions 6649." Could you tell me how old the kit is, I would love to find that and stitch it for my sons girlfriend. She is a ballerina and that would make a great gift for her. I looked on the Dimensions site and got no results. I am now looking through google and also e-bay.

I believe it is a few years old, as I picked it up at a craft expo and I haven't been to one of those in a few years.
