It will be amazing once the backstitching is done... It is already wonderful!

Enjoy your break from these piece. I know we will all be looking forward to seeing the finish, but I'm also looking forward to seeing your other piece.

Here is latest picture. Have finished as much as I can do before I need to take it out of the hoop & do the 4 corners. Backstitches etc. done to the best of my ability altho I am getting a bit better each time I do them. The white flecks on the water of the lake looks OK here but when I look, it does not seem as nice. I think it needed thicker thread as white thread supplied is thin like the thread used to use when tacking something before hemming etc. In future when I do a Dimensions kit will use my own white & black thread. Can use my Anchor ones.

Thank you for looking :)

 you could go over the white wave tops again with the white thread supplied or your Anchor threads to accentuate them, still in half crosses of course. :D

The back stitch really does bring out the detail! A glass :toast: to celebrate whilst we look at the lovely view I think! 8)

Thank you both. Gone over the backstitch on water again with the thin thread & now they do show up as a bit choppy on the lake but they do look better. Adds a bit of movement to the lake waters. :D

Beautiful! Such a wonderful design, so serene!

Remember we tend to be our own worst critics. I think the backstitching, and all the stitching, looks wonderful!

Finished. Glad but will kinda miss this one. Most intricate project I have done but enjoyed it :D

Thanks for all your support :D

Am going to spend a couple of nights putting spare threads from kits onto bobbins & number them so no more tangled threads in drawer :) Then can get out threads I need for next project before going back to Fragrant Tranquility.
