RSN Glasgow Exhibition

Post by Serinde »

I was able to view the exhibition in Glasgow on Tuesday at the Glasgow Art Club -- a venue which is totally fab all on its own -- and took a couple of pictures for you all. There were many more pieces to view and the quality was high, of course, being RSN.

Most had glass in front of them, so it was difficult not to get reflections unless shot at slightly odd angles. All, are, I think, self-explanatory. Most look better from a distance, of course, particularly the perspective in the canvas work piece and the silk shading. The stump work takes some beating, as you shall see! :dance:

If you have a chance or are in the area, it's worth going. Closes after Friday.

If those photos are only a sample of what is at the exhibition, it must have been an amazing event. The gold work is mouth dropping fantastic, not to say that the other examples were not awesome also. Thank you for sharing these photos.

What wonderful picture of the Loch and boat. :applesauce:

The sand eels are silver kid and his gorgeous feet are copper kid, and so cleverly stitched. He (or she?) is lovely and plump.

@WW: knew you'd love it!
