Hi, new here!

Post by ClaraY »

Hi everyone! I am new on the forum, but not new to cross stitching. I have been cross stitching since I was 9 years old. My mom loves cross stitching and tought me how to do it.

When I became a teenager I quit for a while... thought it was boring

But when I became pregnant and couldn't do much but sit around, I picked it up again. I am almost finished with my latest project... I'll post some pics later :)

A little something about me:

My name is Clara (obviously) I am 23 years old. I was born in Belgium, but moved to the USA 2 years ago. I now live in Arkansas. I have been married for 1.5 years, and have a 4 month old babygirl!

Looking forward to getting to know all you nice people :D

Very nice to meet you Clara. I am so glad that you have found our little site and I hope that you will come by often and join us. We love new members and helping them with any need. We also like for you to share new things with us.

Having a new baby will keep you very busy. My two are now adults but they are still my babies. I just put my son on the plane back to Iraq and my daughter is graduating next week. Busy time but they are soooooooooooooooo worth it.
If you are looking for some one to help change you, look in the mirror

Hi ClaraY, and welcome. Where in Arkansas do you live? I had a sister who was down by Little Rock for a while (then she was bitten by a snake... but you don't want to know that, do you??) because the parents were in southwest Missouri (long story). Lovely this time of year, before it gets too hot.

Hi Clara and welcome to the family. Everyone is really friendly and always willing to help, either by way of encouragement or with advice. Just had a look at the gallery the bears are looking good, but bet the (dreaded, ) backstitching will bring them to life.

The bears are wonderful! I have two boys, so tutus and pink are out of the question. It's nice to see, though! :)
