This is what Nick's stocking is going to look like.
This is where I'm at after 2 days of working on it (a couple of hours each day).

I gave them a couple of choices each and these are the ones they chose. Most of the work done on both of them is half stitches. It's just paying close attention to the chart to make sure I get them in the right place.

Not unless I quit my job and neglect my house and animals. lol. I have a more reasonable goal of getting all 4 done (my hubby's and I's included) by next Christmas. So that way I don't feel bad if they aren't done this Christmas. And if they are then that would be great.
Dazbo- I got the kits off of Ebay. I paid half as much for them as I would have through Janlynn (where I originally saw them).
I can't wait to see these progress, I was so tempted to buy some of these off ebay to do for my two younger sisters. You have got off to a great start, I love the designs

These are beautiful designs. What lucky recipients. I suspect you'll manage to do more than you think. And we certainly wouldn't condemn you for neglecting (unnecessary) housework, would we?
These are looking great. Well done! And working on two at the same time, awesome!
I got some stocking kits from ebay about 2 years ago with good intentions of finishing them by last year! Well, I haven't even started them! My excuse is everyone keeps having babies and wanting me to make them birth samplers! Maybe I'll start them in the next 5 years!?!

I bought these last year with full intentions on having them finished by this year. But other projects got in the way. I had promised Nick I would do McQueen for him plus a friend got married and then some other ones I wanted to finish. After I finished the wedding embroidery and the snowfamily greetings sign I pulled them out. These two are kits, mine is a kit but I have to get the floss for my hubby's. I've also got a Santa's Coming advent calendar, table runner, place mats, ornaments and a couple of other Christmas projects. But I don't want to work on too many Christmas projects in a row or I'll start to dread the next one. lol. After these two I'll start the hubby's stocking and a non-Christmas project.
