I have snowdrops in my garden, just on cue. So, naturally enough my thoughts turn to spring, since I'm fed up with this faux-winter we seem to be having. (uh oh. did I just tempt fate?) This seemed to fit my mood

That is so funny - I know a couple of gardeners like that :-)

Wendy, hope the storm passes without too much inconvenience.

Oh, yes. Reminds me of some parties I went to in my youth, when I was still polite to utterly boring, usually older, men (and I'm afraid back in those days it was almost entirely boring men, sorry). I hope young people these days have found a kind way of extricating themselves from those situations...

Now I know what to aspire to. Collar a bright young thing and bore them to death at a party. At least it's a way of ensuring I'm remembered for something...!

The last adjective I would use to describe Richard is boring.

This video has a few really precious moments that made me laugh out loud: Cute Cates Getting Confused

That was just what I needed  - I'm torn between awarding first prize to the one chasing snowflakes from behind the window, or the one pouncing on the printer!

I laughed out loud at the cat chasing the snowflakes through the window. Last weekend we had snow flurries. I'm not sure Rosey had ever seen flurries before she. She was frozen staring out the window. Then she turned around and the look on her face was "When did we move to a different planet?".

It's funny but our Maine Coons love the snow. Gryff was so funny when he chased ripples of water on top of the ice on the top of the fish pond as he bounced all over the ice. Silly cat.
