Thank you all! :wub: I'm having a lovely day. First coffee and cake with a pal then dinner cooked by Younger Son who is quite the chef, but leaves a trail of destruction behind him in the kitchen. Luckily it's up to DH to sort it tonight! :D

Indeed it was, Richard. Scotland's been under a high pressure system for a few days, so bright blue skies and cold-- lovely! Today has reverted to type, and by the weekend (when I have 12 or possibly 13 people here for Thanksgiving), we are expecting the first real gale of the winter. :roll: It's been too warm all through autumn to bother lighting a fire, so perhaps on Sunday once the dust has settled... :snowman:
