Oohh, all the grasses and reeds under the dogs have been filled in, that's an awful lot of something!

It's so atmospheric, it's lovely.

It is turning out really like a water colour, especially when I put it on the back of the armchair and step aside at least 50cm. Mabel, each time I look at it (in the hands it also looks not bad), I remember your words about water colour effect. At that moment it looked a mish mash of all sorts of stitches. Now it is turning into reeds and grass. And guess what? Those "bald"(not stitched) spots on the dogs also serve this effect- thanks to them the dogs blend with the background and seem to be as one with the whole surrounding.

I am so grateful for all the support I am getting as 40x40cm is not a HAED, but still looked like "Mission: Impossible". Now I do know this WIP will be a Finish some day very soon(fingers crossed).

This is so beautiful Lyudmila,

it really is like a watercolour and one can almost smell the salt air from the marshes.

Very well done indeed Lyudmila, I really hope you are pleased with it now.

They took me 9.5 hours yesterday. The pictures do not do all the hard work (on plastic canvas) any credit at all, but I like the way they turned out. The kids(47 and 39) liked to have them on their trees too.

The HUnting for Ducks was supposed to be finished yesterday, but the very thought of half stitches in ligh-light -nearly invisible violetish blue made me sick, hence these little ones. Today hope to finish the picture. If not, I have two weeks till the deadline.

Oh how cute they are!

They look right at home on those trees, no wonder your kids were happy with them.

I look forward to seeing the dogs in the marsh completed, it is so gorgeous, just like a watercolour.

Lovely little ornaments! Plastic canvas can be a pain to use, but it does hold up to hard wear. Good luck finishing the hunting dogs today.

I've never stitched on plastic canvass and imagine it isn't the easiest to do so these little ornaments are even more special. Love them and looking forward to the "dogs" being finished also. that is a work of art!
