Goodness me, Maureen!! What two Superb finishes!!
I'm sorry to learn that you've not been well, but, Hey! you spent your time profitably!
That Bronte 'sampler' is absolutely fantastic! I love it! As for Mr Munchy McMunch Face. !! Your needle must have been Smokin'!
He is a Wonderbubble! He will certainly bring a smile to your face each time you go into your kitchen and see him!

Hello Lovelies
Gosh it has been a long time since I posted. I have still been stitching although I haven't been here, here's what's been keeping me out of mischief
I have been reading the Cousin's War series by Phillipa Gregory which will eventually lead into the War of The Roses and the coming of Henry VIII, so this tempted me
Then I just had to stitch this one from my stash
Then I began some Christmas stitching, Penguin for DS
Two Angels
Which turned into this for a gift
Another Stained Glass Rose card
I began this WIlliam Morris Strawberry Thief
a bit more done
I put the Strawberry Thief to one side for the moment because I got distracted by this
Top Row
Middle Row
Bottom Row and where I'm up to now before backstitch
and......POP!

My word you have been busy - and what a lovely variety of projects! They are all beautiful in their own way, but I think the woodland creatures one is the one that immediately catches my eye

for such lovely and diverse projects!! And it is so very good to see you again!! I agree with Mabel that they are all beautiful but the woodland creatures piece has something unique about it that is very appealing. Hope you will stick around for a while, so we can see how these turn out!

How wonderful to see you and your lovely stitching! I'm particularly taken with the way you've finished Two Angels. Very neat and clever.
Re: Garnet's Stitch-a-long Updated 26.10.2020
Oh my these are so lovely! I really don’t know which one I like most, they’re all so good.
Love the angel one, such a lovely gift. The stained glass one is beautiful.
It’s nice to see your progress on the William Morris, I’ve seen them online but it’s really coming along nicely.
They’re all so different in style, well done!

Hurrah It is wonderful to see you back online and to see all these projects together. They are all fantastic in their own ways and to pick one out is all but impossible. I think the the Henry V111 and the current Wildlife ones are my favourites but they are all truly amazing. The William Morris one is coming along well, and it is good to do the smaller ones in between to break it. You truly have put the time of lockdown to great effect.

Welcome back! I've had my eye on that Woodland Sampler for a good while now, but moving and packing has put all craft on hold, although I did manage to knit a cardigan. .... which turned out too small So my daughter will benefit from that.
All your stitching examples are great. I couldn't chose a favourite so them all.

Lovely to see you back, Garnet.
Wow every project on this page is beautiful and so different: The teapot sampler always makes me smile, the William Morris colours are wonderful, the cards are absolutely perfect in every way. Your latest project is also very appealing, as the animals pop out once backstitched but still blend so well in the background.
A big WELL DONE!

Now I see the filed mice and they are fabulous Maureen. It is great to see the whole design too ever so beautifully stitched. How many more rows of little creatures are there?

Thank you for all your kind replies, they do mean ever such a lot to me.
The Eagle - eyed amongst you may have noticed the backstitch on the Daisy on the Rabbit changed from picture one to picture two in this Woodland Animals project (further up the page) This is because when I came to backstitch the Daisy on the Deer, I didn't like it, it looked rather like a spider had landed on my stitching, so I changed it, then had to go back and change the backstitch on the Rabbit too. I think it looks better now.
Update time.
Before backstitch

I can see why the woodland animals are demanding to be stitched. Lovely design.

Re: Garnet's Stitch-a-long Updated 31.10.2020
The back stitch certainly makes it easier to see the individual animals and, as always another masterpiece on this great design is looking at us. Beautiful as always Maureen.
